Here we have the problem. B&O did not release a circuit diagram as the BC1 is repaired by module replacement. We have all there is to have. Very short sighted in my view.

The power cable will be fine! Don't be taken in by the nonsense written in Hi-Fi magazines - power cables do not need to cost $500! A kettle cable will be as good as anything!

If you are looking for good value, consider a MCL2P and some S45-2 s or S120s if you want more bass. Both will give far more accurate sound than CX100s and in my opinion will sound better than BL6000s as well.

Interesting collection - your grandfather knew his stuff! The Beovox 3800s have Goodman bass units but I am surprised they need reconing - mine seemed to be mainly rubber from memory. My daughter uses hers regularly. If you have a ridiculously big head like mine, they are a bit uncomfortable! $20 is a pretty good price !! Well spotted.

I too have a BC2. I like it but the operation is not as user friendly as it might be - the naming of CDs is far too labour intensive and I would prefer the audio feedback of the latest models when pressing buttons. Performance is fine but who would buy a non Blu-ray player for this sort of money these days? As all my rooms work by remote, and use my

They are best when matched to the amplifier as they are relatively small in volume and the amplifier has a bass lift. They really do need to be wall mounted - they sound pretty poor otherwise. However wall mounted, they really are pretty good. I have given my Beolab 5000s to my dentist as they are simply too big for anywhere I would want them and have

I forgot to add - send the reviews to me by PM - I'll tidy, add links and put on site with an acknowledgement.
