Well I use a headphone amplifier with my system - a Musical Fidelity X-Can V3. You can attach it to a line out and then mute your main system as the X-Can has a separate volume control.

Be aware that it sometimes can be a little flaky! I have had several goes in the past to get it to load - probably better with XP.

I have just been sent the newest version of the Product Configuration Guide! Only having a Mac, I cannot use this but I have put it on site! Try here - remember once you download it to change the extension pdf to exe - I cannot put program files on the site so I have changed the exe to pdf to fool the system! You need to change it back and it will work

It does! I find it best to use mine via the dock connector - the volume seems better. The quality obviously depends on the compression you have chosen to rip at.

Pushkin: Hi So its looking like the bv7 mk iii with a bl7.2 wall mounted beats the bv5. In terms of surround sound speakers which can be wall mounted (to prevent destruction from small child) I only have three choices - BL3, BL4000 and BL6000 with new wall mount option. What happens if you plug the headphones into the BS9000? The AV7000 is a little outside any expertise I have I am afraid!

I have not spent much time watching one - only in a showroom when it was released - but the angled screen works well. It had no effect on my viewing pleasure and makes the whole set resemble the picture frame it is supposed to. The only problem I have with it is the size - just too big for me.

Can't really say till I have seen the BV7 Mk3 , but the BV9 would take quite a lot to beat it. I personally prefer plasma to LCD - I would suggest comparing them side by side.
