Slight bias - yes! the PC had the correct software - the Mac had none! (Not released yet!) Despite this, the Mac was able to put music on the phone. The PC could not.

I am delighted to inform all members that Keith has kindly agreed to become a Technical Adviser on Beoworld. To be honest, he has been effectively doing the job for some time but we felt the huge amount that he does on site and off should be recognised. Welcome to the team Keith!

Just ordered a iPod classic 160Gb. I'll wait for either the iPhone or the iPod Touch once any bugs are ironed out!

We do have the installation guide on site - You do need to be a silver or gold member though. It does suggest that this is done by a qualified installer though. I would see if your dealer will offer some advice first.

Sometimes going to a dealer with a bit of knowledge can make the whole process less intimidating. It is a problem with B1 dealers - entering into the shop sends an immediate message that you wishing to buy some B&O. The old store in store shops had the advantage that one could surreptitiously admire the B&O! I know that is how I started! One

For movies it is the best money I have spent on B&O. For music at low to medium levels it is fine. Higher volumes in my set up just has too much bass even at lower settings. Possibly better in a bigger room.

True, but the number of customers who would buy a Beo5 to work a 5000, which had unique codes, would be tiny. Maybe once the 3rd party software comes out?

It won't work the Beosystem 5000 as that uses completely different codes but anything a Beolink 1000 with work seems to be fine.
