• Re: Audio setup in masterlink connection

???? LED on SUB remains "red" when selecting "CD" or "Radio" ???? Anyway - I'd recommend a power reset - DISCONNECTING all components TV/DVD/AUDIO ... from mains and waiting 2 minutes before restoring power ... and after reconnecting - wait a minute before you start the system again. Sometimes this helps!
You need to set up the coaxial cables from dvd player and/or set-top-box to the Beovision to transfer digital sound data... Maybe a converter, too. You seem to hear only the analog sound, not the DTS/Dolby digital one. Ralf
Ralf is right - for DIGITAL sound you'll need an additional CINCH<>CINCH Cable
When i set it to '1', only tv speaker works, and this is ok. But even if i set option '3', the only speaker working is the tv speaker.
Cause#1: the program is "mono" therefore the sound is being reproduced only from the TV speaker Cause#2: speakers are not properly adjusted/connected

  • Re: Beovision 4 or BV10: centre speaker or no centre speaker

When you switch of the center speaker (pressing Speaker 2 on Beo4) you'll notice voices e.g. dialogues in films or the newsreader are "larger than the picture" - when all 3 speakers are working (pressing Speaker 3 on Beo4) the voices "speak out of the screen"
Does anyone on the forum have a set-up using a centre speaker plus BL8000's or similar? If so, can they report on the difference in performance when the centre speaker is switched off (but the BL8000's are positioned not too far from the screen?)

The cables to the speakers run in the walls to a central point.
First the type of cables coming from the BL4500 has to be determined! Are the PowerLink (you got 2 DIN plugs), are they SpeakerLink plugs or are they line connectors Depending of the type you can or have to
