i see. i know what u mean. but i really dont understand why thought, isnt the dvd1 not going to be able to send any signals up that line anyway?
-
so cut the cable or break the pins?
-
its ok... fewww :) its just when the cables are in. this is so confusing,
-
Hi, just got the double-screend cables in and its the exact same problem. Now, if i press TV, then press DVD, i can hear that TV. clearly theres something funny going on with the TV and/or its connectors. My b&o dealer said that i might need to pay the difference for a new chassis. Ill need to try keith's solution, keith, any cable in particular

i think that they will require a local visit to your place, and with the upgrade its approx £90. Chances are that your VM box will be ok, just look for PACE xxx or PACE NTL. That works on mine. Make sure that you have it on the decoder scart and in the setup menu have it as SAT(SAT) or something like that. Tim

Hehe, to be honest, sometimes i wouldnt be surprised. I apply the same technique to my home computers and they work a treat :) Even the noisy fan shuts up when it meets pain :)

If I were you, I would kick the beosystem2, show it who's boss. Things like this should just work right?
-
Thanks to everyone for their support. Really hate to believe that its this drastic for top equipment...i could swear that other scart cables are ok... ill try them now and see!
-
Its not looking good is it... My dealer has offered me to borrow a double-screened cables, which ill take up his offer. I can't believe this is happening really, its too elementary for the "best CRT in the world".
-
I see. Ill try all the other scart cables i have and see if i still get this problem. its funny how the best equipment can be let down by a cable! Thanks again, wish me luck!
