Get a cap kit from Martin (Dillen on the forum) and at the same time get a lamp kit and trimmers that he may recommend, it will save you a lot of work and troubles, if you have the drawings crosscheck every item you change with the drawing and the one in the device, they are not always the same, good luck and keep us posted. I would go for something like a Toshiba L740, evt. with a bigger HD and 6 mb memory as you want to run video, a HDMI connection is a must. But a lot of connecting and disconnecting will go hard on the plugs, so I recommend a small build PC for your stationary system, with more or less the same features as the L740 to that a good wireless mouse and keyboard

Best thing would be the flat screen connected to an amplifier with line outs for active speakers, and from there to the speakers, I use a bigger Onkyo, but a small one will do if its only for TV sound and 5 channel, you will have to check which type of subwoofer can be connected.
