Hi, it is indeed a line out connection, I use it everyday to send the audio signal to my wireless speakers throughout the house! It works with my BeoPort in option 2, and no headphone connected; if I remember correctly, I once plugged in headphones and the line out was muted, but after restarting BeoPort (=unplug/replug), everything worked fine again

The B&W PV1 is indeed very well rated by the press & specialists, but using a non B&O subwoofer in an audio setup means that in most cases (including with the PV1), you can't send the bass to the sub & the rest of the signal to the BeoLabs , so your Labs will still saturate with bass at high volumes. In a video setup -like I have

Count me in for the Powerline communication, this is the future of BeoLink, since all BeoLink products need a power plug, that would mean a single cable at last! The technology is there, only the B&O remote control capability is missing on the present solutions. Wireless transmissions are too unreliable for real hi-fi performance, and let's

If you look at BeoLab 10's user guide, you see it has the same sound settings as other BeoLabs, i.e "free" and "wall". The "free" setting is said to be "for future use", because BV4 is only wall-mounted: that clearly means that BeoLab 10 will be able to work with free-standing TVs, like BV7, because I don't

Hi, in a video setup, you can buy a phono line-Powerlink adapter of the type that goes with BeoLab 3/9/4, it works both ways! Connect the Powerlink plug to the back of your TV, and the phono plug to your subwoofer, you'll get both left & right channels on your sub, I do this with my B&W subwoofer that is connected to my BV3.

I would like to have the service manual for the Serenata, just to see the specs of the audio player..

Hi, from all the problems listed, my BeoCom 4 only has the strong echo issue, I can hear the PC fan working or even myself walking , and that is indeed quite annoying sometimes! Apart from that, I wish the BeoCom had a more stable base (maybe heavier or with some kind of adhesive), because very often people drop the phone and/or the base when taking

I made exactly the same suggestion when BeoLab 7-1 was released: why not use the amps & speakers from BeoLab 7-1 and put them inside the 8000? You would finally get at least 37 Hz from these beauties, as this is what Lab 7 produces, in a 4 liter cabinet....and the present Lab 8000 has a 5.3 ltr cabinet, with normal amps: which means they could get

The articles makes good points, however I don't think they understood the B&O culture: - it says the shops do not attract the masses, but masses are precisely what B&O wants to avoid; - it says the HQ is in a remote Danish location, yes, indeed, this is what makes it so unique; - it says flat TV was a challenge for B&O design: OK, but

Apart from the photo section which I miss from the old forum, I would like to have easier access to the forum, from a navigation point of view: very basic concern, but it upsets me to go through 4 different pages when being on the main page before I can find the forum (or I am missing something, in this case the "forum" access path should
