Incandecent clear light bulbs about 70W are banned from production and import in the EU, but stocks can still be sold. Fluorescent light bulbs give a very bad light, and are not dimmable. They have started to produce Halogen light bulbs that look like standard incandecent bulbs. They are dimmable.

The wall bracket isn't motorised unfortunately, but the floor stand is.

The MLGW cannot do any automation on its own. It allows a compatible home automation systems to turn on and off the TV or Hifi... Also it allows you to use a Beo5 remote to send some commands that are passed to the home automation system, which will do the work. I do not think any one on the forum has experience with this box. p.
