I love any new approach to an everyday object to make our lives easy. However, unless I misunderstood the Bikkle, I understand you have to use it on a flat surface. That means that when ever I want to change tracks, adjust volume etc. I have to lean forward to operate it. You are in effect tied to the coffee table or desk. A remote should be just that

Not really helpful as a solution but many moons ago I had a BM5500 that only responded to the remote about 1m away. I took it to Nobby (site member & repair wizard) where we took off the top and attached it to a oscilloscope and we came to the conclusion it had a faulty IC 'somethingorother'. I didn't get it repaired and sold it on as

Argh. and now you have to move everything back again and re-cable it up. Never mind Peter, good things are worth waiting for....
