BV 4-85 will have a 3D screen, probably because Samsung cant deliver a non 3D in that size. Because of this, it will be interesting to see if this will still be powered by the old BS3. Does 3D not require HDMI 1.3?
I thought it required HDMI 1.4, or did I mis-read that somewhere? I'm sure I read that was required
B&O deliberately sells something they know is flawed that pisses me off...
That's the key point: they don't. There were major Sky HD problems with the MKIII, which took many months to fix. They weren't "known" when they shipped the TV. They just became aware and had to fix on the fly
B&O SHOULD if any be ABSOLUTELY perfection..
I've had two Panerai watches, both around £8000 each, when times were a little better. Both have had to be returned to Panerai as they stopped working. One within two (!) weeks of purchase, the other within a year. I still have one of the watches. My
Hi Ehlerz, I don't often sit in complete darkness with it on to be fair...
Doesn't anyone? The problem I have is that if really go *looking* for issues, you'll find them. I believe that people become so hooked on absolute perfection, that they'll never be happy.
So B&O has just informed me that the white spots is not due to a faulty panel. They are as they put it, perfectly normal... (??) SO anyone interested in trading a MK IV with 200 hz panel with deliberate white spots for an older MK IV with the 100 hz panel and no white spots?
Don't downgrade, remember
why that? is it discontinued?
It was discontinued and discussed on here a while ago. Many dealers are now selling their display stock - some good BV9 prices at the moment.
i myself use a duster...
This is only good if your MKIV is in a fairly clean, non-kitchen environment and all you wan to do is remove dust. If it gets greasy, which happens in a kitchen, you're stuffed. See above.
Hi guys, Yesterday my wife decided that we would spend the day cleaning!!! So I opted to do the TV...bad mistake! It toke me at least 30mins trying every cleaning potion that claimed it was ANTI-Streak!! How wrong are they? In the end i just used a tiny bit of water and a rag with lots of elbow grease.
Yep, you're
Samsung it may be, but it has that danish overhaul to it that adds class, picture and star quality.
Do you work for B&O PR? The Blu-ray drive doesn't support DTS-HD (found on most Blu-rays these days), requires a daft yellow+button to control via the remote and is rather noisy on startup. Where's
