I was working until 2.30am loading up images and doing descriptions for the next 6 months Prize Draws and fell asleep at my computer I got up this morning and forgot to change it back to the current draw. The draw you saw was actually November 2009's - i was looking for a particular image from a previous draw.. All back to normal

  • Re: Got me some Beolab 9's

Short and to the point from Anders - and correct, you don't need a Lab 2 any more. The sound you'll get used to. The 8000's sound warmer, and the bass from a Lab 2 is more.. not sure of the word to choose... lazy? The BeoLab 9's are very quick with the bass, and will also loosen up a little over time. The acoustic lens is always something

  • Re: BMW E30 3 Series

Sounds a beauty! I'm sure there'll be others though. Another car to consider (some love them, some hate them) would be a late (1991-93) Mercedes 190E 2.0 or a slightly older 190E 2.6. Great everyday transport with solid mechanicals. The facelifted version (1989->) looked really modern at the time and still doesn't exactly look awful today

  • Re: BMW E30 3 Series

All the 6-Cylinder engines in the E30 were good. They had less work to do than in the 5-Series owing to the weight of the car, and the build quality was excellent. The odd head gasket on the 320 and the 323i (which they only did for a couple of years), but the 325i is bulletproof. The 1986-1988 325i Sport was a great car - it even had a Limited Slip

  • Re: I almost forgot how good they were..
Ooops, Lee. You know you won't be able to get rid of them again ...
Correct. Finances permitting, they're mine forever. You never know what's round the corner in business though - apparently we have a huge recession coming in the UK coming, so nobody is immune to a downturn! That said - the last
