I have added a couple of popular requests tonight! The Beomaster 4400 user manual is now on and I have also put on the Beovision MX2000 user manual in English! Both manuals are courtesy of Tim Jarman of Beocentral a superb site which complements Beoworld greatly. They have helped this site right from its inception and continue to do so in many ways

Reasons for the way you vote are also most interesting! Is it sound quality, style and which colour would you get? Do you think colours are an improvement?

Tim suggests looking in particular at the capacitors on the capstan motor panel which gives all the symptoms of worn heads - costs pennies.

Agree completely! Tim is your man! Just fixed a whole lot of my kit including a VX5000.

Cozza is correct. The later RF models are easy but the curved ones need to have the rear panel off and I cannot recommend this unless you know your way around a TV set. Very dangerous!! I certainly would not do it.

Interesting receiver. It will work with a bg4000 though a 4002 would be a better match if you don't find a bg6000. The remote is of limited value as unlike the 2400 system and indeed thr prototype 6000 system it does not control the beogram. I have a full 6000 system but I prefer my 4400 system to listen to. Also think B&O should have made the top panel

If you are in the UK, I have an 8902. It has a fault involving some electronics but the tube would seem to be fine when last used. Collect it and it is yours!!Not answering messages till Saturday as on dial up where I am!

It should work fine - the BC2 can be called DVD2. CD should work the BC2.
