This is my version of Beo4 stand, hand made from a no longer used B&O charger for BeoCom 9600.

Hi, the soft touch coating was easily removed by spraying the caustic soda foam you use to clean your oven, letting it work for 10 minutes, then rinsing with water and drying before spray painting on the next day. I did the same thing with my BV3-32, but this time painted it glossy black, because I found the original grey plastic a bit sad..

I had to remove all the soft touch coating with caustic soda , then spray paint . I called it my StarWars version of BC1! My original case was the red(dish) version, and was so damaged by the previous owner that I decided to change it..and yes, the front speaker cover is black, I just got it last week!

Can you see what is new and exclusive on this BeoCenter 1??

I'm also waiting for B&O to upgrade their BV7-32, because for the moment all the improvements have gone into the 40' version, and nothing in the 32', that still has no HDMI inputs, offers a panel with lower specs than BV8-32, seems to still have the digital input issue (only stereo, not surround sound), no motorized tilt function, it

I didn't know anything about this person before I read the article, but I think this is real good news for B&O; the man is young, he's a technician, and also cares about customer needs, that seems only good for me, as he should be in a position to work on B&O's main weakness at the moment: lack of new technology integration, with

B&O has finally released a new version of BeoPlayer/BeoPort (version 4.80) that is Vista compatible. It seems there is no other improvement in the software, apart from the Vista compatibility. I wish they had improved the cover art download, I found CDDB much more accurate & faster than the metadata service.Besides, I don't know why the

Hi, technically speaking, the BeoGram CD 7000 was the best CD player ever made by B&O, much more performant than anything released after the BeoCenter 2500/2300. Better S/N ratio (110 dB vs 100/101 dB on BS9000), better channel separation (same as S/N specs!), less distortion, a 16-bit filter instead of 1bit, better frequency response ( 3Hz - 20KHz

To me the real upgrades on BC2 should have been things like 1 HDMI socket to connect it to your flat BeoVision and get full benefit of digital signals, or a DVD recording feature (since DVD2 solution was dropped), instead of always coming out with cosmetic or software upgrades. A new DVD drive is a nice thing, but is it in any way superior to the previous

It's funny how B&O defines priorities when they launch a "new" product. BeoSound 6 came out 7 years after BS2, and in 7 years B&O didn't learn that file transfers were faster with a USB 2.0 cable..especially when having 4Gb of music to transfer instead of the 2 Gb from BS2. At least with BS2, you can take the SD card, put it
