Oh dear... you are all, of course, correct! The component is an INPUT not an OUTPUT. What a mistake on my part having a pair of these! I ran over to their respective cabinets and reviewed the wiring... collapsing in a pile of self-doltedness. No excuse!

To get started... some loose thoughts. Do you recall what SW rev is in the BS1? The component out from the BS1 should work fine. You will have to play w/ the SCREEN settings in the BS1 as well as the INPUT settings on the panel. How do you intend to control everything -remote wise? As far as "other devices" -look at a Zektor switch.
