Thank you very much. Makes complete sense now that I understand the viewing position is merely a measuring point that can be the same as a listening preset, but does not have to be. It is just a point chosen at random within the viewing field so that the system knows which side everything is on. Thank you again!

I have continued to test the AST. It is very interesting that one can rotate the sound stage. As this is being done the BV7 displays how many degrees of rotation there are. Also, the BV7 will display which listening preset has been selected, such as CHAIR, or whatever label has been selected by the user. However, I am confused as a menu appears that

I had the same problem but no answer as to why. I solved it by assigning another device in the PUC list and using the learning function in the Apple TV to learn that devices commands. That solved the problem for me. It also allowed me to add 9 extra buttons to the Beo 5 for control of the apple TV, such as play,fast forward, next track etc.

It is a new stand. The BV 7-55 stand is bigger than the 7-40 stand.

Have now tried AST. I am undecided if I like the sound better with or without it. There is a noticeable difference between having it on and off.

We replaced our BV7 40 inch with a 55 without the BluRay player last week. The picture is amazing and much better than on the old 40 inch.
