there is no porblem apart from being told that it would not need one. Scart is being phased out slowly so you think a solution woudl be made also dont see people with blue ray players connected via HDMI need to use a scart lead for STB Control

after all the problems with BV7 and software 4.24 and tv crashes etc i have had my tv updated to 5.08 yesterday to fix the problem of sky HD getting out of sync and guess what it still does not work. If i take the scart lead out the number buttons do not work on the beo4 to the sky box. if i have the scart lead out the tv sends the "ON" command

thats a nasty little sales trick then. oh well now i wont buy one i will go to another supplier. shame

i thought the bs5 was just a fancy display and the software is on bm5 so really MOTS would be on bm5 wouldn't it

You do get the new menu's which are alot nicer and do not cover the whole screen with 5.02. Also im sure we had a 24p update in there for watching blueray movies

Hello All Has anyone had this put on there BV7 yet i want to hear if this had caused any more problems as evertime i have had an update to correct a problem it has brought another problem. anyone using 5.08 yet without problems

hi there i hear that 5.08 is the update that allows you to use SKY HD without the scart lead that had to be connected again after the update 4.24a. if i remember 4.24 casused issues with crash and sky hd needing a scart. quite a few people have had their sky box turn off randomly since 5.02 and some times it does not switch on. this shoudl be resolved
