A new Beoworld star is shorn! To bleat or not to bleat, that is the question...... Start slowly, no need to go off at the sheep end straight away or the sheep might hit the fan and may find yourself buried in a mysterious lambslide, with some very sheepish gutys at B&O saying they don't know how it happened. I shouldn't baa yourself from

Peter : Beoworld's favourite Hi-Fi mag has a review of the BS4 and BL4s in it this month. Surprisingly good review though I note the reviewer couldn't stop himself from changing the power leads! I really do despair sometimes. If they are going to do this, do a double blind trial and pick the difference. They won't of course but still go

I am still happily working my way through the older stuff! My long term plan is to get a Beosystem and a pair of Pentas, but that is a year or two away yet. The next B&O purcahse will probably be one of the early CD players like the CDX. Simon

I haven't gone back from newer B&O but I have migrated from newer non-B&O kit to a Becenter 7000 and a pair of S45-2's , and initially assumed it was the starting point toward buying some newer and more expensive B&O kit. nikeyboy1212: So I may be stating the obvious but, having listened to very average record decks and average moving coil cartridges from the 80's (Ortofon erc) I wandered what the big deal was until.......... I fired up an MMC 2 on my Beogram 4500 and was quite knocked back by it's clarity but maybe that was down to the quality of the Penta's

Flappo I don't think it is the fact that you have an opinion that is the problem, and you are not the only one! One of the things that had lead me to lose interest is having so many threads on more or less the same topic, specifically we seem to have had the same discussion around new B&O products (particularlyTV's) being overpriced compared

And the winner is whoever won this auction from Lee..... Ebay thread Simon

Chris It is time for you to get off the fence and tell us whether or not you like the X25s! Simon

nobby: Will anyone own up to liking the Beocentre 2200? If not, then that surely is the winner Neil Can't possibly win because the Beocenter 2000/2002 is even worse!
