I think that lossless on the beoplayer is using wav which does not have that problem (neither did sonys attrac format that they had on their mini disk). The gap is specific to AAC and MP4 format I believe. http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=48231 I found that discussion interesting. It seems Itunes adds an ID3 tag and then the player

I am thinking and thinking. Initial reaction was to throw up in my mouth a bit. it certainly does not go along with how I furnished my place. Big however though, I can imagine that some interior design crack manages to assemble a room that looks awesome with it. I remember to well the pictures of the BC2 in a slightly baroque environment. I was drooling

I think what he wants is http://www.pacemaker.net/device/ ; a gadget that can take any MP3 song and automatically turn it into a gapless mix .... If it can do gapless, that would be great news. For some funny reason I got already the email from B&O that the BS5 is available, however I am sure my local store doesn't have it yet ...

If you play a DJ mix CD on a BS9000 there would not be any gaps at all. I think you are refering to the time itself between songs and that would be different from CD to CD. Can you please find out if it will play DJ mixes and classics without "gaps" between songs. I know early Ipods had that problem, today there is a flag in Itunes that activates "gapless" playing. I honestly don't know how other MP3 deal with this, apparently it had to do with the MP3 format. That is for me a must have feature

It can not be compared besides sound. One is a timeless classic, an icon with clever mechanics, the other a computer. If you don't care about having to use a keyboard and mouse in your living room I think the Mac Mini is great for what it costs. Is it perfect? In my opinion not. I had a Imac for a while, controlled through Beo4. I did not want a

Do you mean something like this http://www.dwr.com/product/furniture/living/media+storage/muro-media-storage-unfinished.do?sortby=ourPicks something that holds your screen?

I was wondering the same a while back. Only explanation for me is the BV7 32 was available to hotels without a DVD if I recall correct. So they had it all along, just not available for the normal consumer. Or it is much easier to just rip out the DVD drive then we all think. JK
