In all fairness, B&O will have different people working on the body colour and the chassis design! Changing the colour of the body is a very small job in relation to completely re-designing and manufacturing the chassis.

Go with personal preference! I haven't found there to be a huge difference in sound between the different BeoSounds, although the BeoCenter 2 offers you digital outputs for the future possibility of the big 5s, as well as being able to play DVDs the B&O way.

The BeoSystem 3 is definitely the decoder to go with. It'll give you the integration of a B&O system, and most of the performance (the BeoVision 4 would be the missing link).
