  • Re: BL5 and non B&O surround processor

Not much information is available at the moment, but it will be soon. My advice would be to hold off on your decision!

I don't suppose you've read about the new sound processor in the BeoSystem 3? It hasn't yet officially been unveiled, but it looks very interesting!

  • Re: future of beovision 7-32 ?

In all fairness, B&O will have different people working on the body colour and the chassis design! Changing the colour of the body is a very small job in relation to completely re-designing and manufacturing the chassis.

Yes, although it depends on the model. I would personally keep the BeoSystem 3 - it's a very good processor!

  • Re: MX4200 VS. BeoSound 3000

Sounds as though the MX4200 needs to be put into option 6. Press 'Standby' and 'LIST' at the same time on your Beo4 in the same room as the 4200. Then use the 'Up' and 'Down' arrows on the Beo4 to get through to OPTION? on the display. Press 'Go'. Again, using the arrows, get 'V.Opt' on the display. Press 'Go' and press '6'. The standby light on the

  • Re: Santa Claus brought me a BeoLab 2

Go with personal preference! I haven't found there to be a huge difference in sound between the different BeoSounds, although the BeoCenter 2 offers you digital outputs for the future possibility of the big 5s, as well as being able to play DVDs the B&O way.

The only difference is a screen update and a 12vdc scaler . I think quite a bit more than that will change with the new 7-32. Whether or

  • Re: It's time for new TVs again!

FWIW, we've just bought a Samsung 32" LCD to go in our lounge. The simple reason is that we can't afford a BeoVision, but for those who can, it highlights just where the price goes in a B&O TV. The Samsungs seemed to be the best performers, but they're still miles off the picture of a BeoVision. The difference seems to be even larger towards the larger

  • Re: Beolab 5 + 3 - What Amp ?

The BeoSystem 3 is definitely the decoder to go with. It'll give you the integration of a B&O system, and most of the performance (the BeoVision 4 would be the missing link).
