Agree completely! I have a Soundsmith cartridge and it is better than any of my old original cartridges. Just not quite as pretty!

Is there a way to tell whether or not mine have that? MKII doesn't have an on/off button on the front, came in 2007 I think the Mk 1 is the one to have. I am worried

The Serenata is a lovely device and sounds better than any other MP3 player I have heard. It also has the very clever but ultimately not very useful speaker function. It has the benefit of a phone being fitted and is wonderfully tactile. The iPhone is stunning and the software involved is incredible. I'd have the iPhone!

Argh! A cable debate!! I too am keenly waiting for the Randi test - I note that the last double blind test performed by audiophiles showed that one could not differentiate between power cables - and credit to them for publishing the results. I know B&O have played around with cables and have settled on the ones they supply because they are happy
