Have you tried a new belt on the servo? There is quite a bit of torque to overcome on the volume control with this set and a slightly aging belt will fail to move the volume past around the point that you mention. Also I have tried various belts with little long term success, but just received Martins which are to original spec - Not had time to fit

What is wrong with the Beomaster 6000 Llewelyn? It would be a shame to break up as IMO these are lovely amps!

Ah sorry Craig I thought you mean't the conducting strip behing the keys! I have never used the silver stuff I doubt it is flexible enough tbh. I can imagine it breaking away and leaving debris to short tracks etc... I might be wrong though! The stuff I use us rubber carbon based specially designed for remote repairs. Like I said can't find

Just bear in mind the responsibility when quoting the 'going rate' Craig, you should offer some sort of warranty if it breaks again. You should also perform an insulation test and basic safety check before release.

I repaired mine using a special conductive rubber paint (not the silver stuff which is not suitable) but I don't know where you get the stuff from anymore, as it seems to be discontinued!
