You might find some inspiration in looking to the 7 CIC's as developed under Jacob Jensen. These guidelines, like Dieter Rams' commandments of design have persisted through the decades and designers and informed the design language that identifies B&O in the larger market.

There are a few universal remotes out there that have can handle B&O IR. When you talk about BeoLink are you referring simply to IR control or to audio distribution?

I can't recall the order in which I bought them, but I got a BeoCom 1401 and a poster set early on in my career. Still have the posters. Must have given the phone away at some point.
