I must say I find the design OK, but I can't help wondering: would I pay 10 times the price of a BeoPort to have what I already have with BeoPort connected to my TV ? With my PC video signal going to BV7 and a cordless mouse + keyboard, you have the same thing on a larger screen, haven't you? If the BeoSound screen is not touch sensitive, what

Hi, since the introduction of BeoSound 6 & Serenata, you can't specify a different encoding/bitrate for portable audio & PC , and you can't copy directly from CD to music player; that may be a shame for many, but that's how B&O decided that things should be..they simply consider that with larger memory on portable systems (and

Indeed I find the new colour really beautiful, especially BeoLab 3500 in white, however it always bothers me to see that each year B&O only changes the colours & cosmetics, instead of the specs & the components..: when are we going to have ICE amps in all BeoLabs, especially the 3500 which has such limited cabinet volume & could have

Hi, if you have Windows Vista, you need the latest version of BeoPlayer/BeoPort (v4.81), the previous ones are not Vista compatible. I think you also need a BeoSound 6 plugin to make it recognizable by BeoPlayer, the plugin is one the CD ROM that should have been delivered with the BS6. Finally, if you want to use ITunes and not BeoPlayer, you also

Hi, the easiest way to connect a non-B&O sub to your BeoSound is to use one phono to Powerlink cable that B&O sells for BeoLab 3/4/9, and plug it to your system; you'll have a mono signal, that's what I'm using to connect my B&W subwoofer to my BV3-32.

Just when you expect the new management to come back to earth with more honest prices, they do the opposite.. For me, another reason to buy only second hand B&O ..I can't afford anything anymore! My BeoLabs 4000 were launched at EUR 1,500, and now they cost more than 2,000, with poorer amplifiers and 6% distortion (yes, it's in the product

I would be very upset if B&O started manufacturing in China, because that would mean they are stealing us even more than today! The high prices for B&O products are often justified by the fact that they are made in Denmark, so if B&O keep the same price & produce in China, it would mean they simply increase their gross margin, because

Since the question was about the worst product ever designed, I would vote for BeoCom 6000, I can't stand this phone, I bought a BeoCom 4 because I found it much more "logical". For me BeoCom 6000 is only plastics, complete asymmetry with that triangular base (what function has a triangle on a phone?), and a handset designed only for right

What I can see from the pictures is that, once again, B&O said they designed a new center loudspeaker to match a new TV, and it still doesn't! BeoLab 7-1 doesn't match with BV7-32, BLab 7-2 with BV 7-40 (too wide), same for BV 7-4 with BV4 and now BL 10 with this new panel. It would have been so easy to design a BeoLab 7-1 the same width

Thanks Henry, as for the frets, they are not easy to paint..I tried to paint the red one I had to black, I thought it would be easy because that would be a darker colour, but no way. Eventually I bought a brand new fret that cost me more than the spray paint of the case, but you know B&O prices! I think the only way to change the colour of frets
