Hi Beoworlders, Can anyone tell me if the DVD mechs on a Beocenter 1 are the same as the DVD1 mechs? I have a Beocenter 1 with a faulty DVD player and a perfectly good working DVD 1 that I could hopefully transplant to make the Beocenter 1 as good as new! Any advice would be invaluable. Thanks

I always think you should buy the TV that gives you the best viewing pleasure in normal conditions. I would never test a TV with (for example) Pixar Animation because it looks crisp and clear on any television. Watch live sports or normal TV programs and buy the TV your eyes feel comfortable watching. (my 2c)
