can it display the time vertical, too? Would be nice to mount it on a wall like Beo 4 and 5 if not used :) Can somebody upload the usermanual?? Please!? :-) Does the audiosystem NEED the timer functionality or will the Beotime e.g. send "Radio on" command at 6:00 am? Would be nice as if the old Beosound 1 has no timer function.

do I understand the facts correct? - Displays are all three backlit - Beotime can produce an alarm sound by itself or use B&O Equipment (TV, Audiosystem for Timer, Alarm switch on/off) - basic control of TV/Soundsystem ? I will have a look at it in person and if it doesn't look and feel cheap I MUST buy it! this is great for the bedside!!!

more photos and details, please :) Are the displays backlit?

Mr. 10%, that sounds great, is that config even possible with BS 3000 and BS 5? Actualy, I have to switch the BS3000 to N.Music/N.Radio via Remote and when I'm lucky the BS5 wakes up, too. Both are connected via Masterlink, BS5 = no Audiomaster.

@ k984942: Good point. I think it's the absolutely wrong way to defend B&O. I think everyone here in this forums decides knowingly for B&O equipment because we expect HIGH quality and HIGH reliability! You pay 5 times the price for an audio-system or a TV and the manufacturer should fulfill EVERY aspect of this product to get a happy customer

Hi Stan, thanks for your reply and congratulations to your Beosound 5. The problem is that the red Led blinked when I came home, so nobody operated the BS 5. So I can't understand why he tries to wake up when nobody is there. I waited about 5 minutes before I decided to reset or shut down the unit. By the way: If you keep the reset switch pressed

Good evening, I listened to some music on the BS 5, switched it off, left home. When I came home and wanted to start, nothing happens and I saw the red LED on the BS 5 blinking. When I press the power switch on the Beomaster 5 and the indicator Led on the Beomaster 5 switches from green to red the red LED on the Beosound 5 still blinks! The same happened

Hi, your BS 5 must be set to "NO Audiomaster". I assume that the speakers are connected to the Beovision? Than it is right, that you can NOT change the volume on the BS 5 unit. You have to use the remote control. This is not an error or malfunction! Option setting should be "0" = no IR reception.
