I was finally able to purchase a MacBook Air which means no Beosound 5 for me at least for the coming year. Apple was first to wow me.

The wow effect is that I have been trying to buy the MacBookair for over an hour and can't get through to the Apple Store. I think their network has been overwhelmed.

It is definitively true that Czech engineering and manufacturing has always been first rate. Unfortunately during the Soviet days, the entire Czech economy was nationalized resulting in stifled engineering and manufacturing by western standards. This of course has changed dramatically.
