I dont recommend vaseline as the dirt and dust will stick to it and cause problems in future.

For your information, I do not appear to have the problem at present, although it is a bit slow.

I agree with John! I've not heard S75's but my old S80's, even with a bit of foam rot, were far superior to BL8000's. I wish I hadn't given them away!

Yes you can..........but when the CD mech is installed in the Beocenter the clamp is moved aside by the sliding door and you never actually see it! Very B&O

The CD player looks identical to all the CD mechs that I have found in 9500's. There have been some mods to the internals of the mechs and to the servo circuit board over the years but these would be impossible to see from this angle.

Unlike most, I am able to use the search system on this site! http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/9711/73132.aspx#73132 It is unlike Mr Saunders to get anything wrong so I am inclined to believe this?????
