I missed the end of this as our Granddaughter was taking up my time when it ended - never mind eh? The cubes had 2 of the round grills missing though but still worth buying. Chris.
but I am now finding that some buttons take a very firm press to make them function, and sometimes a completely wrong letter or symbol is generated.
Do yourself a favour Graham, next time the buttons need a little firmer press, use one of these :-

I've just thought of a definate #1 in my list .......... any product released in so - called special/limited edition Gold (thank God the Beo1 remote was obsolete before they made it even more abhorrent). Absolutely disgusting & ostentatous beyond the limits of taste - except perhaps the Beosound 1 which for some strange reason manages to carry

Still available from dealers the last I heard. Chris.

In no particular order as they are all have equally bad failings.... 1. A1 CD storage cube - nothing special at all, looks like a rebadged IKEA flat pack. 2. Beocenter 2002 - Japanese c**p AND ugly. 3. Beosystem 10 - More of the above & doesn't even remotely try to look like B&O other than a nailed on brushed alumimium handle as an after

Not really good design IMO as it doesn't fulfil the criteria to qualify it as such - beautiful I agree but pretty well 2nd rate as a telephone

No problems whatsoever Tony. The only difference is the 2200 platter will appear to sit slightly higher as the edge is slightly different being chamfered. Chris.

A very good list & one I wouldn't argue with although mine would differ somewhat! I would HAVE to put the Beolink 1000 in there somewhere as it just a classicly elegant yet robust design which hides very clever & easy to use operations. All of your choices have stood the test of time which to me epitomises the term "classic". Chris

Are they RL60's or RL60.2's ? I only ask as the RL60's will probably have disintegrated surrounds on the ABR's. To test this simply give them a shake & if you hear something rattling inside then this has happened. There is no "off the shelf" fix for this other than to do the work yourself. There are a couple of threads
