Check plugs and connectors everywhere. In some Beocord's plugs can go on offset a pin or two unnoticed. Check also the solder joints at the connectors. A replacement capstan (flywheel), why ? I take it that if it was bent, you wouldn't have enjoyed listening to it for an hour. Martin
