  • Re: Beolab 9 as studio monitors

I think we need to remember that this is an international forum and sometimes words can be misconstrued.

  • Re: Service manual for Beomaster 5000(stereo tuner, not receiver)

Had a quick look at the service manual which doesn't seem to mention this. To access the manual you need to be a silver member. However I would suggest talking to Frede Kristensssen at Classic Audio about this to see if it is possible . You can reach him at www.Beolab.dk . He knows more about the Beolab 5000 system than anyone else I know!

  • New survey!!

Further to a thread in the Beogram section, which piece of B&O do we think is the most unfriendly to take apart!? My money is on the Beocord 5000 Type 4705. A bit like a fireworks display with springs going everywhere!! The only thing my service department ever turned away!!

  • Re: Beogram 8000, spins too fast!

auric: The 8000 series turtables are tricky to repair. I think it is one of the most unfriendly pieces of B&O take apart. I would tend to agree that the 8000 is one of the trickiest Beograms. These are also quite expensive so I would never advise anyone to just open it up to see if they can fix one! However they do come apart reasonably easily if

  • Re: Is it just happening to me???

The only product that has given me any problems when new recently has been a Serene which is made by Samsung. Much of my equipment is older and never gives problems except when they eventually need a service - and most of those are due to simple wear after many years of service. However all companies do have problem products and I would hope that B&O

There should be four wires - a common ground, R, L, and the chassis earth. The earth attaches to the earth on the amplifier and the common ground to the -ve of both RCA plugs and the live L and R obviously going to the plugs +ve terminal. The problem is the colours!! What do you have?

  • Re: Problem Beo5 connect with pc

I would uninstall the software completely and then re-install.
