I think this is one of the spoiling factors regards the looks of these decks - I appreciate there wasn't really much of an alternative to maintain the tight dimensions (I actually think they could have just about done it by moving the bearing forward though, but I bet either looks or cost was the major factor). They look so much nicer flush!

Ah Jacques whilst stricly true you have to bear in mind that the cantilever (I assume) is not under weight, so there will be a little bias to the bottom two cross points, perhaps even to the point of near contact. So is it the bottom ones and how much difference there between the ends of the two crosses(sp?)? Did that make sense caus the whiskey is

I call these moments 'blips'. It is interesting to see if any feedback is eventually left I will keep an eye on that one!

You either need another deck to test the cartridge on or another cartridge to test on this deck! Are there no old begrams on ebay atm?
