In common with a number of B&O speakers, the sum of the parts works rather better than the individual items might suggest. The quality of the drive units is however disappointing as the longevity is not that great. The upside is that they are cheap to replace!
Than it should be a nice experiment to exchange

Hopefully the Beocom 5 is NOT like an opened or unfold Serene :-( I need a simple to use phone and not s.th. where they forced to say "Hey, it's a piece of design!" but nothing more like they did on the catastrophic Serenata or Serene. Back to topic: - Usermanual? - release date? (I can't wait to see it in person!) - official price
The more I look at it and hear about it, the more I like! I think it will be a success!
I agree 100%. But only if the price is right. I hope it's not more than 400,- Euro because I've read s.th. about 700 Euro in the dutch forum!? More live pictures, please!

Few more questions: - does it display the time constantly or only when you touch it? - What kind of backlight does it use? I hope it is not as bad as in the "Beo4 cinema"!? - will it have some kind of "low battery warning"? I think this would be necessary, as it is NOT funny when it didn't wake you up because of dead batteries

In the dutch forum I've read that Beotime will be released in July and my dealer told me it will cost about 300 - 350 Euro.
