Used mine to reprogram a spare Beomaster 6500 today, and they're great for setting up the radio stations quickly, assigning program numbers. And then they belong with the unit. BTW - tempted today. A white Beosystem (without the CD-player), but with a pristine, white MCP ...

To inject a touch of optimism here. Jyske Bank in Denmark, which runs a pretty mean analysts' room, are up about B&O's prospects, calling the share undervalued at present, stating that the recapitalization was successful and is giving the company breathing room, and claiming that there are very interesting products in the pipeline. As Jyske

(Apologies for the lengthy post!) The other day I decided to place a spare Beosystem 6500 in my main listening room, and to use this to listen to radio broadcasts. It's connected to the BL5s via Powerlink. The BL5s are connected to my main sources through RCA Line-IN (the surround processor); and through Coax S/PDIF, for the digital signal from

Steve, I have a Beosystem 6500 which I'm controlling with a Beo4, because it is connected to a BeoVision 8 and a BeoLab 2000. The integration to the BV8 made using a Beo4 the easiest choice, though I have both a Beolink 5000 and an MCP6500. Before getting the BV8, I used the Beolink 5000 for day-to-day operation. If you want to control it with the

I bought iPod classic recently, and I made mistake, I should get Ipod touch .... [/quote] Are you aware that the iPhone's keyboard actually expands the characters "it" thinks you're going to type, as

BeoFusion - that's a very advanced state of confusion, often resulting as you navigate B&O quirks, such as option-programming. (I remain grateful to the people on this site who helped me navigate that!)

In the most recent issue of the Magalog, they have a spread on the Beolab 5000, and of course they mention the slide-rule inspiration for the fascia. Given all the markets B&O sell to, it's not always that the translators get the "nuances." And in the Norwegian version the translator gives slide-rule two stabs, both as amusing as they
