Yes - every single B&O passive will work with this amp.

Or you could try Tim Jarman via the Beocentral website. Highly recommended and very reasonable rates, but you'd have to drive down to Hampshire as he doesn't really trust couriers with these old units in transit.

Assuming both amps are in good servicable condition then I doubt you'll get an improvement with the 2400. I have owned both, and rate the Beomaster 5000 amp very highly. The 2400 is ok, but not as powerful nor does it sound as sweet as the 5000. I had my 5000 with a Cona and some CX50s and was very satisfied with it :)

Grrrr. CX50s are not cutting it as this amp is making my Airport Express sound good. Think I need some bigger speakers (and a bigger flat)!

Same here Mika - the left side of the casing is a better heatsink than...err...the heatsink!
@Burantek - yours look excellently maintained! One suggestion - place the amplifier on top, that way, there's more air circulating through the vents in the wood, and you'll probably reduce the operating temperature, increasing longevity of the components.
I thought about this, but reasoned that as
