Hmm. I've just bought a couple of Beocom 5's, yesterday, for the office. Moved across from an old fixd line Beocom to a BT digital cordless phone and, frankly, the audio quality was terrible. I'm hoping these Beocom 5's a far better. At £1000 for two phones, they darn well better be!
You have an email - the wall bracket is not recommended with an iPad.
Peter, can't you comment on here? I was also looking at the Beosound 8 and the wall mount....plus own an iPad. I'd like to know if there are any issues, before buying.
That's a PS3 "problem" not a Tv problem, except bad panel of course. If the picture is too dark, you have to set PS3 on "RGB limited" instead of "full RGB" (picture adjustements).
It was set to RGB limited! The PS3 comment was an example. The TV was dark. The MKIV is *much* improved

One of my mates used to complain about my dark MKIII every time we used the Playstation 3. Some games were unplayable as the scenes were too dark. Nothing B&O could do about that. It's simply the LCD panel and, perhaps, some of the panels chosen (for some MKIIIs) were darker than others? Upgraded to the MKIV and those dark screen problems disappeared

I've owned a lot of B&O kit over time (and still do) and the BeoSound 5 was one of the most disappointing purchases. Lasted less than 6 months, before it was traded in against another purchase. I can't remember any major reason, just lots of small things that proved frustrating. Usability, BS5 interface, BM5 crashing, tons of cabling and

I used to have my BL2 connected to the BL9s. I thought the sound was worse as some of the bass was moved to the BL2. You don't need a subwoofer with the BL9s, unless you have no neighbours and like your movies very loud.
I have had several goes at a diplomatic reply.
Don't. It was partly ironic and tongue-in-cheek. Couldn't you see that?
Next (now this) year, according to Bloomberg , China will become the biggest market for Rolls Royce cars. Graham
But it's British (traditionally so) and the Chinese love all things British. No idea why, it's a dump, but they love the history, the pagentry and "quaint" nature of our architecture
This thread is (again) quickly derailing, with B&o-bashing all over the place.
It's not possible to have a debate? Isn't that what a forum is about. Remember we ALL own B&O kit. We can have an opinion, you know :) Apologies you feel we should be stating everything B&O does is AWESOME - just in
