  • Re: Beocord 8002 mystery hole?
The connector bay is packed, the only thing that could go is the mostly useless pre in/out link.
The pre in/out is very useful when you own an AV7000! On the other hand, it might just be there to fill a hole in the chassis.....

  • Re: Beocord 8002 mystery hole?

I have looked on the back of my BeoCord 9000, and there is not just one hole, but a bog hole with two small holes next to it. It seems that a socket can be build in. For BeoCord 9000 a timer relay box was available which made it possible to switch on a receiver which had no datalink (for instance BeoMaster 4400 as an example) for a timer recording with

And since a hole is filled with nothing, you can fill it with something. And we are back on the first thread of this topic......
If I remember correctly, the hole is in the metal bracket that also holds the DIN socket. I suppose that makes it a metal hole rather than a plastic hole. Martin
A hole can't be made of plastic or metal, a hole is an opening in a piece of plastic, metal or another material. In a normal environment a hole

  • Re: What Are You Working On Now ?

"Screw" those "Experts".... I hope they don't also try to fix their own or someone else's car in the same way, and if they do, I hope I am never driving behind them!

  • Re: Beocord 8002 mystery hole?

I think in the end of the 70's B&O had a lot of holes left on stock which they did not know what to do with. So in stead of throwing them away the used them in these BeoCords......

  • Re: Beomaster 2400-2 Bulb change

I would also replace all 15 lamps. It is not the first time that someone replaced just the defective lamps to find out that after the BeoMaster was put together again another lamp is broken. R Simply replace all of them and have fun mounting the front of the BeoMaster after the repair.... Maybe you should also have a look at the capacitors, they also
