The Bose appears to have a dirty great module which you have to hide away. However I agree that B&O are a bit slow on DAB. However apart from the UK, DAB seems to be getting a slightly muted welcome and it would appear that even in the UK, it is not everything promised. Mine is a little similar! It is a contact on the CD mechanism that will have been jolted. Apparently if you take the top off the CD5500, the contact is obvious at the rear of the CD assembly. I might have a look at mine this week end!
