As a last resource ... sometimes a "reset to factory default" helps to cure strange behaviour ... !! warning - keep records of all your settings - you'll have to restore your setting up from scratch

When the labtop is coming to your house, try to update the BC6-26 too. As I understand the issue, due to different hardware, some can be updated to be Beo4 1710 compatible - others not.

To be honest, I don't know ... I have a Mk5 (SW 8.12) no AST - just Dolby, working perfectly and I'm using ML only to distribute audio. But there are some hardware differences between Mk4 and 5 and there are a lot of settings that possibly interact differently , so findings can't be transferred directly ...
