  • Re: Best of Luck and Happy Christmas to you all!

Hi everybody!! Am I dreaming? Is it really Christmas? I'm just waking up from our GMT+4 Christmas eve, and after logging in, what do I see? I am the winner of the 1st Christmas prize draw?! Oh my God! Thank you so much BeoWorld!!I think I woke up all my neighbours this morning when they heard me scream in front of my PC And what will I talk about

  • Re: How to save Bang & Olufsen

To me, only B&O can save B&O.. I think - I hope - the new CEO will do that all, after all that's why he was appointed! B&O simply has to be B&O again, that means: - great design & not rebadged/rebranded products , but design where form & function are in perfect harmony (some of the latest products do not follow this principle

  • Re: Non B&O sub ?

Hi, I was in the same budget range last year & went for a B&W ASW608 subwoofer, it cost me EUR 450 and the improvement in a 5.1 setup with BL3+BL4000 was amazing! B&W is a very respected manufacturer, and this new range of subwoofers has built-in ICE amplifiers !! Mine is hidden under the bed, so design-wise there's no problem, although

  • Re: new phone

It sometimes makes me smile to see us all get excited about a new B&O phone, with, wow, a built-in speaker! I'm sure B&O will call it a pioneering concept, when actually all other brands have been offering wireless speaker phones for years now..and B&O is the last to jump in. Let's hope the BeoCom 5 comes with a backlit keypad as

  • Re: Avant + BeoPort + CX50

Hi guys, yes, you can use your BeoPort as an audio master and connect it to your Avant, that's what I was doing until I bought a BV3 (and connected it the same way). Your Avant should be in V OPTION 2, and your BeoPort in option 0 or 2. You should have no audio master connected to the system. Enjoy!

  • Re: The B&O problem?

I think that if we talk about prices, we should compare B&O prices to ...B&O prices! What bothers me with the present range is that: - 10 years ago you could get an MX 4000 for EUR 1,500, this was the entry price for B&O TVs, now you have to pay at least twice as much for entry level products (BeoCenter 6-23 or BeoVision 8-26) - 10 years

  • Re: The B&O problem?

20 years ago, when I discovered B&O, the whole range was priced approximately at 200% compared to the most expensive non B&O product with similar specs. Nowadays, it reaches 1000% on some products! To me this is the B&O problem. TBS, former CEO, once said in an interview, talking about re-branded products, that his BeoSound 6 was to the

  • Re: BeoLab 3500 Modification

Hi, the company still exists, they are one of the major B&O workshops for the parisian B&O shops.Their site seems to be under maintenance, but if you go to the French yellow pages (google "pages jaunes"), you should be able to find their phone & fax numbers. They still manufacture the Lab3500 Powerlink kit .

  • Re: Beotime - how to clean?

Hi, I also have a BeoTime, and can only recommend you not to use any multi-metal cleaner! It will stain the metal and make you clean it twice as much afterwards..I used alcohol on a soft cloth to renovate it after buying it, then only a microfiber cloth works fine for everyday cleaning.
