I agree. My Beogram 8002 used to do this too. Sometimes you could push start a few times before it would actually play other times the arm would go to the end and get stuck. In the end it started to skate over the first numbers of a record. Getting fed up I finally took it to Dillen/Martin who went through it changing a docen or so of the caps and whatever

The CDX is playing Live in Japan by Deep Purple. Made in Japan is the old masterpiece of Deep Purple on the Machinehead tour with selected tracks from 3 concerts. Live in Japan is all 3 concerts as complete as it can be. Great stuff!

The very old debate in the world of hifi. With B&O cables don't mean anything. You can lean back and enjoy the B&O experience/lifestyle.With B&O you don't have to tweak anything to make it perfect. Turn it on and turn it up. Is it perfect? That's up to you to decide. For us with the Beovirus it's perfect otherwise we would

[quote user="Craig"][quote user="Dillen"] I've managed to find a NOS (New Old Stock) potentiometer for use as the volume control and mains power switch. Physically it's not exactly like the original but it's of the correct ohmic value, has the correct shaft diameter and has a built-in power switch of the push-pull type

B&O and the term HIFI? They kind of left the comparison back in the '70s. I can't compare with the post 1990-2008 products but with the high caliber flagship models like Beolab 8000 and Beosystem 6000 you get music played in the most acurate condition it can deliver. I love both my systems for that. A few months ago I was in a so called

When I got my Beocord 2000 back in 2003 it also needed belts. A dealership got it back in order along with a Beomaster 2000 which had the strange fault of staying on only for a few seconds. I guess he managed to get belts from B&O or something. The 2000 system got sold in 2006. Now its Beosystem 6000 and Beolab 8000. Anyway Dillen is the man here
