I might be a little to young a to new to the brand to take part in this thread, but here is my choice: 80s - BeoSystem 6500 (I think this is the one Andy won!?) 90s - BeoSound 9000 with BeoLab 8000, what else? 00s - BeoCenter 2, because it is different

Ronald: Is this all nostalgia, is it really??? No it is not. It was bad at that time. How can it have been bad if this is what has grown out of that site? The actual BW sure is better, but back then, it was as good as it could be!

I've been listening to Miles Davis - Live at Montreux all day long. Every version of Jean-Pierre is just great, an there are 6 of them on the whole box.

Alex: Sorry to correct you but there is an upgrade... new type numbers were assiged for the BeoLab 3 range with the upgrade. Thanks, Alex! So there has been an upgrade, but no visible one.

Beolab: Alex: I'm not quite sure about that, I've heard it before though. The BeoLab 3s overall feel fantastically well built to me, and the ALT always feels very metallic. If they have swapped it for a plastic ALT, then I can't say it's affected the quality or feel of the speaker at all... It´s 90% plastic fantastic! The thin

AFAIK, the BL3 has not been upgraded. The only thing I think to remember is that the AL was made of aluminum a the launch, but later they swapped to plastic. Still, I'm note sure about this...
