Dear Mr Sorenson Sorry to see you go. Although that doesn't matter as 99% of people don't care what we say ( ask mr 10% ) In fact why bother writing you a letter in the first place as nobody will ever read it Lots of love and a big girly kiss on the bottom Flappo xxx

i agree with 355 , the bv8 sticks out like a sore thumb and is symptomatic of what's wrong with bno now they're pushing it as a cutting edge tv to a young age group , but technically it's stone age , plus it looks very cheap ( very beocentre 2000 ) and leaving out dvb-t , when analogue is about to be switched off soon is simply brain shatteringly
-
the problem is that the uk is bno's second biggest market and we're a tad more developed than certain parts of the world regarding technology methinx , freeview's been around for ten years ! and still bno treat it as an afterthought... bno need to peg their equipment at the very top of sony and panasonic technically so when you buy a bno
-
i agree 100% i don't hate bno , i love them , but they just seem to have lost the plot recently stop trying to compete with apple's ipod , even sony couldn't win that one ! forget all the mobile phone stuff , let other bigger companies have that share of the cake just concentrate on making the best a/v gear they can - as you said the bm8k
-
so you think a company that produces televisions without digital tv built in is up to the minute ? especially such expensive ones with such limited connections - unless you spend £8k on a bv7/40 of course - or is it £9k ? for the prices they charge bno gear should be 100% cutting edge , forget the fancy designs and the way diamonds cut the

looks like apple won't be including blu ray after all , they're going for the digtal download idea itunes for movies , not a bad idea take your ipod round to your friends house with 20 films ( in 720p h264 - so they will look amazing ! ) on it or a sack full of dvds / blurays ? nuff said !
-
look at the current range the bv8 is £3k and doesn't have dvb-t as standard , in fact no bno tv does !!! CRAZY ! so you have to add another box - that takes up a scart / hdmi - and we know how few there are on bno tv's and then hide the box and have codes for the beo 4/5 remotes - the whole things a cludge , not what i would call sophisticated
-
they also have to embrace blu ray , digital tv and the internet who on earth is going to spend £15k on a bv9 and then have to add a source ? ludicrous bno have basically priced themselves out of the market as well as diversifying into things like mobile phones that a tiny company like them has no place in i'm afraid they have ideas FAR above
-
excellent news , i always said the guy was a **** slagging off apple was a truly dumb move as well steve jobs should buy bno as his 2nd hobby , get jonathon ive in as head designer , put lewis in to retirement , bring back jacob jensen and we're off !

soon no doubt ms will be watching the procedings avidly so bill can come up with another of his oh so brilliant insights into the - YAWN - future
