  • Re: Fast-Forward does not work in Front Row with Beo4

They fixed that in one of the later Apple Remote STB releases. I know for sure that in the first attempt that they brought out it wasn't working. You may need your software updated. I would though take a look first at the capability of the ATV to learn remote signals. If you find an existing STB/PUC hat fully supports the navigation cross and "exit"

    >>I expect that the US is on the chopping block for B&O, perhaps rightly so given the lack of support by the populace.>> That is something I strongly hope will not happen. I just saw an online sales-add for a condo and it had a BV7 in it. You could not see it frontal, only from an angle but you could clearly make out the BL 7 underneath

  • Re: Download CDs to Beosound 5

I think thats wrong, the AAC lossless is not supported. Is an "Apple standard", I think if you check here that some feel that MP3 320 is the way to go. I personally share that opinion. File size is OK, sound should be good to for casual listening. If you run BL5s I would certainly reconsider and go WMA lossless. I don't want to double

Apple TV menu. If you have the latest, under settings, last entry is standby.

I can't judge the quality from over here in the US, however I staye din Hotels with Loewe and must say I liked the design much more the lets say Sony or Samsung. It's by far not on the level B&O hangs out but

i am not talking about itouch, but iremote. I think it controls only music, while apple remote can do more.

  • Re: BeoVision 7 - 40 / APPLE TV

I have an itouch but I rarely use the remote app. To be honest I am not sure if it can deal with selecting videos or buying content from the itunrs store. I just checked the website, it talks only about music, not full control. If you want to avoid the software update, the Apple TV "can" learn third party remotes. It can't deal with the

  • Re: Blue Beolab Picture

Personally I would have chosen a more neutral color as well but I always congratulate when people make a bit more gutsy moves. And in the end, if I see correct the BV7 is silver and the speaker covers can be changed relatively easily. Very wise if you change your mind in futire. My BL2500 has blue covers in the beginning, then black and then later metalic

You can go to the standby option through the menu. If you have the latest version, it should be somewhere under settings. Holding down the "Go" button will not work. That entry for standby in the ATV menu structure came with the last update. I used it once, I believe it doesn't save much power. Cheers JK

  • Re: How to put Mac in StandBy?

With the normal apple remote pushing the "play" button would work, however the Beo4 holding down the "go" button doesn't work. So standbay and fast forward backward is a no with the current STB/PUC I believe.
