Afraid not! The -C stands for the fact it comes with a Connector for universal tonearms. There is also a -B which comes with a 1/2" mount. I have put pictures on Beocentral of these in the boxes - here ! I have given the -B away though I still have the -C ! Otherwise standard 20CL.

It is possible - there are two variable resistors - one for the 33 speed and one for the 45. I believe if you look at the base of the RX2, there are two small holes and they may even have the speed markings by the, They are situated in a position under the arm at rest. however if the speed is slowing, consider whether the deck needs servicing - lubrication

The RDS feature only works with the 7000 system as far as I am aware. The 9500 doesn't have RDS. Not the most useful feature anyway as the name only appears on the blue screen and is very small!

You can only have one video and one audio master - that will be the problem.

The advantage of the 9000 is the digital out. I agree it also looks very special. It is however getting old and the display is quite limited especially if you are using N.Music. The BS4 is obviously a cheaper model but it has a quality feel to it. I do like the soft touch finish. Given a straight choice, I would have a 9000 but in fact chose a BC2 rather

Seems pretty straightforward - what is the problem? Attach the BS3000 in the Living Room and make it the Audio Master - I take it that the Avant is the Video Master? If the BS3 is master, I would attach the BS3000 to that. Have you downloaded the Product Configuration Guide software? It will tell you all the options and how to set it up. Download it
