TripEnglish: But here's where I'm still right. There is no virgin intuition when it comes to dealing with products. We work off a collection of cognitive models developed over a lifetime of expediting daily tasks. We do not actually see with fresh eyes when confronted with a new piece of equipment, but rather look for familiar cues and affordances

camshaft: The company claims to design electronics and their operation around what the user would intuitively imagine their methods of operation should be - quite the opposite from telling the user that their ideas about how they should be able to operate electronics are wrong.... Camshaft, I am going to disagree with you here. It appears that a common

The BeoCom 6000 automatically channel hops on its own, can't be managed by the user. My curiosity is piqued because Michael indicates that he's experiencing interference with 'bluetooth', which would be a new issue to my knowledge. Russ

Thank goodness Trip added the smiley face towards the end there. I thought he was serious for a second. By the way Michael, I missed the BeoCom 6000/Bluetooth issue. What exactly is it interfering with? I could accept some wi-fi interference as an issue since they work in the same bandwidth. But in my townhouse row there are 5 wi-fi networks (including

To use it this way, you need a fully wired Powerlink cable (MK 2), and you do NOT attach the IR sensor. If

jk1002: >> If B&O choose to build 'cheaper' products they risk losing their real clientele, with no real promise that they will add new customers at the low end.<< There is cheap and then there is different price points. BMW has the 1, 3, 5 and 7 Series. Plus X5 and X3. Plus Z4 and friends. Plus the 6 Series. I don't think

kawo: From my point of view Saab or Jaguar are facing the same problems as B&O. For Saab sales droped dramticly because no innovative products anymore for a high price. Karsten From my perpective, Karsten, Saab is facing it's problems because General Motors never bothered to understand the 'culture' which the company had cultivated with
