I'm still working on the answer on getting a Beolink 1000 to a Beolab 8000 system. As I think the converter box is the type 2041 MCL box I need to see some pictures of the box inside and outside. Are there any helpful members that could provide them?

j0hnbarker: Xseries: Otherwise I would try the 6000/8000 and add a CDx then for speakers - the best Uniphase you can lay your hands on! I'd go with this - try a Beolab 8000 system (I have one) with a CDX and some Ms150.2s (if you can find them), or my own personal choice of Beovox Pentas. They suit the 8000 amp SO WELL!!! :) I'd go with the

Die Bogener Martin would properly know. After reading his great post on MX/LX I think that tuner board needs to be cleaned and fresh capistors. Your B&O repair just want to exchange the board instead of finding the fault on it. As for the value its better to go with the LX/MX range.

I use a Beolink 1000 mk 3 with mine. I guess its the original one as it came with the Beovision. Mine was DOA so I went by the B&O shop and had a new printboard installed. It still works great to this day. I would sugest to either fix the one you got or find a direct replacement.

Is there anyone that has any idea how the B&O made in '80s serialnumber system work? Beomaster 8000: 2274017 Beomaster 6000 white: 2484016. Beocord 8000: 2106068 Beocord 6000: 2116721 Beocord 9000: 2627009 Beogram 8002: 3194027 Beogram 6006: 2493041 Beogram Cdx: 3554496 That's my 6000/8000 collection and CDX. Any ideas to date it or how

Ride the ligthning on vinyl 45rpm latest reissues on the Beogram 8002. Re-recording side A of my Metal TDK tape as the beginning had the BC9000 record calibration not deleted.

The Beogram 6006 is playing one of Gasolin' s (Danish rock band of the '70s) more obscure releases. Killing Time which was recorded in 1978 with Felix Pappalardi ex Cream producer and Flemming Rasmussen early Metallica producer in the newly build Sweet Silence. As a last resort to break into English speaking countries they did another record

Another update: I went by my local B&O dealer today. I printed out the IR code converter manual and took it with me. He said that the only item his got is item 8 on the list which is the Lead on one end and a mini plug on the other cable which goes to the IR out on the converter box. The sensor and tablemount does come up at least on the used/secondhand

I got some updates. As said earlier in this thread all the cables and such is not the problem to obtain. The box is the Master control link 82 type 2041 which is modified for use with the Beolab 8000/Beosystem 6000. I found this that confirms it: http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/accessories30.htm The site says another kit is needed too but that is if
