AS you can tell- im in the plasma camp and dont like LCD- thats just a personal preference. It depends what your veiwing habits are and that how I started my response. Pc, gaming, all high def- get the BV7 BV9- movies- bigger sceen- handles SD better IMO plasma is nicer to watch. In the end the difference is screen size is enormous and makes the difference

Not withstanding the different technologies there is a very big difference in screen sizes which if you like movies you simply have to have the bigger screen.
