Welcome to Beoworld! Some older B&O speakers suffer from foam rot. Some models had rubber sounds on the woofers in which case it is not an issue, and some of those that have foam surropunds seem to mysteriously escape it when other speakers of the same age suffer. If the speaker drivers all look and sound good then I would advise leaving well alone

I host a couple of websites on godaddy.com. I have made few demands on them, (they are just low-traffic local community sites) but had no problems either. There is loads of storage, a generous traffic allowance miles above what I use and it costs me $3.95 a month! You can easily upgrade to higher-traffic packages. Simon

John I suspect most of the early B&O kit pops when you turn it off. My Beolab 1700 does and I remember my fathers system doing the same many years ao. My father was advised by his dealer to turn the volume down before turning the unit off. I have no idea 30 years on if this was sound advice or not but I have always done what he suggested! Simon
