  • Re: Overpriced Junk

I have a Beosund 1. 220v early model, and two front covers (Anodized Light Blue and Red) Like many of us, I was attracted by the design ( unique to Bang & Olufsen at the time )the sound, and the functions, and the fact that it works with the Beo 4 remote. My BS 1 works fine these years, has traveled to the US, Brasil, back to Europe for repairs

  • Re: Advice appreciated: BeoVision 4-50 vs non-B&0 HDTV?

If you can afford it, buy it. Skip the new car, dining out for a bit, vacations, etc. The picture quality is fantastic, and yes the system would be integrated with your Beo 4. No searching for 300 + remotes. If you can't, consider a Monitor that Bang & Olufsen has codes for. A store representative can scroll using the BSystem 3 etc and show

  • Re: Anyone bought an Earset 2 yet?

Nicolas; I started to get my camera out for a photo and realized that the photo you requested already exists here in BEOWORLD. Smart fellows ! Simply go to Products, telephones, and mobile telephone accessories. Click on the lower middle thumbnail photo and there you are. The charger IS the docking station you see. As far as the socket plug for the

  • Re: Anyone bought an Earset 2 yet?

Right ear model, and waited 2+ monthst, but in hindsight, well worth it. PROS: Lightweight, feels good over the ear, compact design with case + charger, charges well enough, sound is good, despite driving with roof or window open sound is good, small activation button on back easy to reach, avoids a citation potential (not a hand-held device) with the

  • Re: B & O Beosound 3: Made in China? Other products, too?

Exactly how much is MADE in Europe these days ? Or, perhaps a more accurate question (or statement) would be: Is it a matter of FINAL ASSEMBLY in Europe ? I have been to large furniture distributors from China who market, and can and do make anything currently out there. No names on the outside of the building, but large container amounts of Barcelona

  • Re: BeoPort and Windows 64-Bit

Good points, Longview. Curious: With Vista, how do your VIDEO clips appear ? Are you using Beo 4 to control PHOTOS on Beoport ? I know this is a file program option, but I must use a mouse to control the PHOTO program. Hmmm. It would seem that if N.MUSIC and N.RADIO can be controlled via the BEO 4, so could PHOTOS, correct ? By the way, if this is of

  • Re: BeoPort and Windows 64-Bit

Beoport works fine with us using XP. We run it through a BS 3200 with our Plasma connected via RGB, and the PHOTO / VIDEO clips are excellent. In fact, when compared to My Photos, the quality is enhanced using Beoport. Sound is BL 4000 in the living room, and BL 3500 and BL 2000 linked in other rooms. I won't go into the merits or problems associated

  • Re: BeoSystem 3 and a Beoport connected to a Windows Media Center

I have Beoport and Win Media Center PC connected, but not with a BS 3. I think I know where you are heading, as the same thought occured to me. I think the music could be loaded onto a SD card with a reader, as I was able to accomplish a download with Sony Memory Pro Duo reader. The Sony card then plays CD's (somewhat) in the car, and on my camera

  • Re: Beocom 6000 - European compatibility issues?

Good Morning Phil: I note that your handset is over 7 years old, yes ? I had the same experience just once, and it turned out that my original 6000 model German handset was not charging properly. I took the handset into the store at Zurich thinking it was incompatible with our Swiss phone system, or the age of the battery, and surprisingly it was identified

  • Re: FM-aerial

Hallo Sveifors ! I have a 7007 original, and the FM antennae I received with it was very simple. A plug socket and 2 wires. The Rabbit Ear antennae mentioned above is somewhat better, but a powered or amplified antennae is better yet. I really depends where you are located, and how strong the FM signals are near you. A small powered antennae such as
