Was bored in Selfridges this week and went to view the B&O kit in the basement. On the way to the B&O area, I was transfixed by the new Loewe area with a whole host of large TVs. Spent about 20 minutes looking at these TVs, their design, the built-in media centre, the cool remote and more. Looked at the prices and wondered why I'd ever consider
kimchr - something doesn't sound right - though it does depend upon how much bass you want, of course.
As I said above, it depends on the room/furniture/calibration. IMHO they should come caibrated for a huge room and concrete floor and they'd be very much setup like the BL9s :)
I was thinking of upgrading my 9s to 5s. I went the dealer with my favorite cds/bluray prepared to be amazed at the sound and buy a pair. I was not amazed. I was actually disappointed. I don't get it.
I was also disappointed with my BL5s (I owned BL9s, too). But there was a reason... I bought my BL5s second
Would you choose a BV7-40 or 10-32 for an average living room?. I like them both cosmetically but must admit i would love the BL7.2.
For me, the 10-32 is tiny. Looks like a toy TV! If you've used a 40" before, the 32" will look tiny in comparison. A 40" is a good compromise. My TV room isn't

The BV7-32 MK3 has a good screen for standard definition TV as the pixel count is higher due to the size of the screen. The BV7-40 MK2 was a good TV for standard definition TV as it pre-dates the 1080P screen that appeared in the MK3. However, HD might be an issue, particularly as there is only that poor single DVI input. Effectively, it's not really
But who would want to hide a BL11? It's gorgeous!
You miss the point. Hide it or not, does it make a difference?
-
Sounds like Bose with no presence, just lots of top end giving a 'detailed ' sound and some bass at the bottom end. It is however the best looking TV in the range.
Wouldn't that be be complimented with the addition of a BL11 subwoofer? Indeed, you could hide the BL11 behind the BV10!
I was at my local dealer this morning ( Knightsbridge ) & they told me that there will be 3 x 3d bno tv's out July / August this year
Yep, these are just 3D versions of the existing BV7's, unless I'm mistaken? Not sure if I'd bother upgrading my BV7-40 to a 3D version. I'd only be interested
The entire BV7 family are to be updated to 3D. And fairly soon.
Yes, I heard about this. So I guess this means a BV7 MKVI? New panel, perhaps sidelit LED.
Stunning picture, and good sound. It looks fabulous too. Much more modern than the BV7.
Maybe I ought to consider using my BL3s with a BV10-46? That might be an option for improved sound.
